Lip enhancement can improve your self-esteem and confidence. It can enhance your facial appearance whilst creating soft, pouty lips.
At BHC we use either temporary or permanent filler for lip enhancement. .
Permanent* Lip Enhancement
Permanent* Lip Enhancement Filler may be injected into lips to enhance their size and fullness. Once the injection has taken place, the filler will not become hard or migrate from the site of injection.
Permanent* Lip Enhancement is a growing field, as more people seek a long-lasting form of Lip Enhancement. The upper or lower lip may be treated alone, or both upper and lower lips enlarged at the same time.
This treatment is usually performed under local anesthetic. Once your lips are to the size you desire, treatment does not need to be repeated. In most cases, this is after one or two sessions.
Temporary Lip Enhancement
Temporary Lip Enhancement is not permanent, however, it does offer a short term fix for tired lips.
This procedure is appealing to patients who wish to experiment with a fuller-lipped appearance; however, may not wish to commit to it. Results usually last between 3 to 9 months, depending on the Filler used. Temporary Lip Fillers are eventually reabsorbed by the body and most patients choose to have touch ups done every six months to a year.
Temporary Lip Enhancement gives a good, short-term illustration of what a Permanent Lip Enhancement can achieve.
In both Temporary and Permanent* Lip Enhancement there is minimal risk involved. Both procedures are considered non-surgical and are performed with small needles containing the chosen lip filler. A small amount of anesthetic is used to numb to the area for patient comfort.
