Breast Implants Sydney

An independent Australian journal of breast surgery, implants and aftercare

A journal, not a waiting room

This domain once pointed at a Sydney cosmetic-surgery brochure. The live site is gone and the Wayback Machine, on the day we rebuilt, offered nothing we could honestly copy. We kept the name, the city and the subject, and started again as an independent publication.

Breast Implants Sydney publishes reported explainers for people who are thinking about implants, living with them, or trying to understand Australian rules before they sit in a consult. We write in Australian English. We prefer public registers, college guidance and device regulation over clinic slogans.

We are not a medical practice. We do not take theatre bookings, we do not rank surgeons, and we do not accept payment to place a practitioner in a story. When a piece mentions a paid or guest-post placement elsewhere, the link is marked rel="sponsored". Official sources such as the Therapeutic Goods Administration, AHPRA and the Australian Breast Device Registry are linked because readers deserve a path to the primary document.

The voice is calm on purpose. Implant advertising in Australia sits under AHPRA rules that discourage testimonials, exaggerated certainty and the theatre of transformation. An editorial desk can be frank without pretending to be your surgeon. If a paragraph starts to sound like a brochure, it is rewritten.

Corrections go to the contact desk. Guest essays are welcome when they meet the write-for-us guidelines. How we source, edit and disclose is set out in our editorial standards. Image provenance lives on the credits page.
